Kept Property Group Acquires 25 Acres for College Station 55+ Master-Planned Community

(College Station, TX – Feb. 15, 2022) -     Kept Property Group has closed on 25 acres in Millican Reserve for College Station’s first 55+ single-family home neighborhood in a master-planned community.

Called Lakeside at Millican Reserve, Kept Classic Homes will be the exclusive builder of the first 64 homesites. Kept Property Group will also build a clubhouse to serve the residents of Lakeside. Infrastructure work will begin later this year with pre-sales projected to begin in mid 2023.

“With 30 miles of trails and a 40-acre clear water lake, Millican Reserve promises the kind of peaceful lifestyle active adults seek,” said Jesse Durden, President of Kept Property Group. “The on-site farm, community events and a dedicated clubhouse will add to the appeal.

Kept Classic Homes is currently building in a 55-plus active-adult community at The Meridian in Kerrville. The single-story plans have elevations featuring a mix of materials that combine for a classic Hill Country aesthetic.

 “The Meridian is doing quite well, and buyers really like the floor plans,” Durden said. “We are developing new designs for Lakeside, but they will still incorporate features popular with the 55-plus demographic.”
